This is a re-read for me. And it was excellent when I read it the first time in my teens. Now, nearly 40 years later, it is just as good. With the added joy of all the little touches I've forgotten. I admit that the wonderful layer of Stanley Kubrick's classic film gave me some red herrings and false memories of added moments that never happened in the book, but still loving revisiting this masterpiece.
