I stopped reading this book. The language used and some of the scenery are a type of disturbing I couldn’t give excuse to, plus I think I powered past it during Covid days so no need to do it again. Literally stopped reading altogether for the past month because the one rape scene (containing a snake) made me feel so disgusting and had me wondering how I powered through the first time. Disgusting.
