Still enjoying the plot. However, there is almost too much unnecessary detail which is pulling this out longer than need be. The characters are still ok for me, but I am enjoying two of them more than the others.

I am beginning to figure out where it is that I struggle with this author's writing. I can't connect to her characters fully. Something is missing that I just don't care about them, well some of them.
I am enjoying the suspense, but the lead female character I just want to smack around - she's killing the book vibe.
