Their dynamic is so interesting. Ty thinks he'll never be with Zane for real so he takes advantage of every moment he can get, and Zane thinks he can't have Ty and therefore mostly denies his feelings and is on guard. Those two men...

Finally, Ty swallowed hard and looked back up. "Zane," he said hoarsely. Then he stopped and looked down again quickly before meeting Zane's eyes again with determination. "You're everything I need you to be," he whispered.

Zane you dumbass! Ty is so in love with you & you don't even notice!! For Ty to even admit this! My heart! Zane needs to do better than this. Ty deserves better than that! Seriously! >_<

"Don't tell me you've run across something you can't handle," Zane growled, a clear note of annoyance in his voice.
"Not exactly, but -"
"Then go handle it.

It's a testament to Ty's professionalism that he didn't kick Zane's ass for the way he just treated him! The blunt dismissal of Ty's knowledge and skills! Knowing Ty I'm sure he's going to kick his ass in private, though. At least I'd do it. *lol*

"Alcohol, drugs, me. You think of all of those things in the same way. I'm the only one that won't hurt you to indulge, and I'm not cruel enough to combine two of them in front of you."

Ty is always so observant! I love that they get to know each other through their undercover job! I swear, we alerady got more personal details and infos in this book than we ever got in book 1 and 2 combined! Finally! <3

"I only did that one time!" Ty argued. "And to be fair I'm pretty sure it was already -"
"Can it, Grady. No more using sensitive tech gear to maim, understood?" McCoy interrupted.
"Yes, sir," Ty said in a disgruntled voice. Zane wasn't even tying to stifle his quiet laughter.

That's my man! *lol* Ty is quite something. He's all intuition, cunning & a sharp-mind while Zane is numbers and strategy.

"It hit Zane right then what Ty was really doing in there. He had no intention of interrogating Del Porter. He was studying him."

I love Ty so much. ❤️ He has such an intelligent and cunning mind. It's always great to see him in action.
