"What's that mean?"
"It's what Sel calls you." He tilts his head. "Frequently, in fact."

Nick shakes his head slowly. "No. He's not gone."
"How do you know?" I ask. "Through the Kingsmage bond?"
"Not the bond," He taps his chest. "I feel him. Here. Don't you?”

He releases his name with a strange, sad smile. "Nick."
