this is such a nitpick but at this point the book is set in 2006 and she says she read her son a bit of “the first Percy Jackson book” which tbh doesn’t fit the time period because at that point only the second book had just come out and the series wasn’t as popular yet to where she would have referred to them as percy jackson books instead of sea of monsters or lighting thief,,,
