this hurts me to say but this is getting quite boring and tedious. there's far too many characters introduced for a chunk and then immediately made irrelevant. also the Scottish girl annoys me

ok sabine is the best character by far. the two randoms who got introduced were not it at all. and the Scottish girl (Alice) is so obviously written by an American it's kind of funny. im still invested btw! i want to know how everyone eventually crosses over (if they do)

ok i didn't get the audiobook with Katie Leung but here i am back home (reading a book about vampires)...the problem with having multiple povs is that the person who's life is set in the 16th century seems to be more interesting than the girl whose life is set in 2019...
