It was four star s up until the last two minutes. That’s just stupid. It would have five stars but the fmc ruined that. The book was too long. Genie was great tho. He kinda spiraled into self pity which was stupid and lasted forever. Jasmines selflessness got old pretty fast and it was obnoxious. You’re a good person. Yada yada woopididoo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fmc needs to find a new personality that isn’t making choices are hard and being angry at genie with no clear reasoning. This book for the past but has been dragged out. Also the Christian themes really did come out of no where. It was like the author decided last minute to make it a Christian novel and thru in the Bible

Also just a side note but I feel like there are way too many villains in this book. First the traffickers hunting Jazmine bc of her connection to chase. Then Silas is hunting down the lamp and then the genie creator guy. It’s kinda overwhelming but it hard to put down. It’s also a really long book but I’m final,y living something right now so I can’t complain. I love how it’s modern. I need to find more

Absolutely loving this book. Genie is my favorite. Him experiencing the world and dealing with modern women is so funny. He’s literally perfect. He protective/hot/funny/ and super sweet. The r c can be annoying at times but genie is just way to entertaining. Him door dashing food and hating the word ‘fine’ is so hilarious. I love how much modern technology makes him seem obsolete in the whole scheme of things
