also the only unpredictable thing about this book was the revelation of parentage🫣

1. saw the gross ritual coming a mile away
2. why do i feel like the brother isn’t actually dead or something
3. why is every insignificant side character named something that starts with the letter “M”

these two are supposed to fall in love??
