The rhythm of this book is hard to get into. I’m reading it as part of a group read, and we’ve all struggled. But I’m almost through Mexico, getting ready to head into Africa and beginning to wonder why I ever doubted Silko. This is clearly a work of genius, and I’m seeing how it all connects, slowly.
