On to Part 3! I don't envy Tchardin needing to assert herself as queen over so many things she doesn't understand.

Ooh, the socio-political landscape here is rapidly becoming more nuanced and complicated, and we're getting encounters that carry some existential significance.

Really enjoying the way I get to piece together my understanding of this world through context. It's like learning a language and culture by spending time with locals instead of reading summaries from a phrase book. The theme of returning to your purpose feels very relevant in our world too. Especially defining what our collective purpose is, or what we owe to each other.
