so fucking nekesa (actually no, she’s the only sane person here) is too scared to call
his boyfriend he broke up, but does not understand that bailey is too scared to call her. also, bailey acted with nekesa exactly how charlie acted with her, then she is mad at charlie but surprised because nekesa is mad at her. now tell me how the fuck these people reason because I for sure have no idea.

“after making sure he wasn’t there. so we reached the place, and he was there.” makes so much sense right?? and the best thing is that there is no explanation for it either

so his reasoning for avoiding her is that he does not want to be in a relationship with her because if it goes wrong he will destroy their friendship. so he absolutely does not destroy it by ignoring her existence. of course talking to her like normal people is not even contemplated. what a great line of thought we have here.

so basically he cancels every plan because she is not feeling okay, then since he is not replying to texts for two hours she ✨realises he doesn’t care about her feelings and everything they shared had been a big lie✨ because of course that is a much more reasonable conclusion that “he is just busy for a couple of hours”

and it also makes so much sense that he had to propose in this scene! did they tell lynn to compress 4 chapters in one or smth?

oh yeah it makes so much sense that a mother, who just discovered her daughter’s dad has not been contacting her in months, instantly forgets about it because the dude she’s dating has entered the restaurant

but I guess that doesn’t matter when we have spent the entirety of the book asking servers for the most unnecessary complicated orders because it’s quirky 🥰

throwing popcorns around in a clothes section is SO flirty! and not a great waste of food and showcase of general rudeness AT ALL!

I think ✨shit happens✨ is a good description of the current situation of this book
