JESUS CHRIST WHY WRITE CHARACTERS THIS FUCKING STUPID???

I'm struggling now. The romance is good, but the storyline is severely lacking. They're not even trying to be discreet which is making me think the only way this story was ever going to go is with Silas' eventual punishment/death. Why isn't he looking into somewhere for them to escape to? Why isn't he trying to break her out? Why is the storyline going nowhere? 🙄

Silas is a serious green flag! That's unheard of in a dark dystopian romance....BUT....the storylines a bit stupid. Killing X before finding out who he's working for? Stupid. Anderson going along with Silas' PR-befriend-the-humans bullshit literal days after questioning his interactions with Juliet? Idiotic 🙄
