Is this too sci fi for me? Someone recommended and I know Ryan Gos coming soon with the film (I like him) but I’m nervous

So far I’d say it’s more actual science not even sci-fi just like straight up experiments and chemistry and shit but I kind of skim that stuff, like I can’t imagine me knowing the inner structure of an organism is integral to the plot
