Indeed, Ken. 2026 is the year of Greek Tragedy. I will be plowing through Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides, armed with a “Great Course” and a Cambridge Companion. What could go wrong? 😃
The short answer is "everything."Hopefully 2027 will be the Year of the Comedy. Or, at the very least, the Year of the Tragicomedy, a specialty of Chekhov's.
