An uplifting read that summarises the hidden angle of human nature. However, I do think it falls into this unavoidable rhythm that other books in the field - like sapiens and dawn of humanity - fall into, in which it jumps between pro and anti arguments without much depth. This is natural for a book with a high level content, but makes for a less involved understanding of the subtle arguments.
