i’m really not feeling this arc i can’t lie

why does mercader have such a strong conviction ab albarino like it’s not even just a suspicion atp

i just really need to get through this case or whatever cus i’m finding it kinda boring ngl thus the stagnation

albarino is probably the worst traits of his mom and dad stitched together into some creature

tbh some of these references go over my head a little. it’s impressive that they all pick up on so much art and literature knowledge and catch all these subtle details but… i don’t know if i’d call it unrealistic, just maybe a bit much? it’s in literally every chapter, every conversation. i don’t know if i’m even allowed to complain about a book making me feel dumb but here i am
