I’m about 70% into Dire Bound and I’m completely under its spell. There’s something almost dangerous about the pacing—each chapter pulls me forward before I even realize I’ve turned the page. I keep telling myself just one more chapter, and yet the story refuses to loosen its grip.
At this point I’m not just reading it—I’m devouring it, breathless and a little obsessed, wondering how a book can move this quickly.
