I have a lot of thoughts about this book. I'm glad that it required me to think about grading in novel ways. I'm not entirely sure that all of this translates well to higher ed. And I'm not entirely convinced that the conclusion of this book is really well-founded/evidenced. But I do think it's important to critically interrogate our practices because many of those probably aren't particularly well-founded either.
