okkayy let me be your girly for this: buddy reads isnt a specific like app or like something u need to sign up for. basically you can just reach out to somebody on gr or anybody u want to do a buddy read with! agree on a date, book and how many pages u wanna read a day and thats a buddy read. anyway yaa every couple chapters or so you both check in and talk about the book!!

omg, i see a lot of my gr friends doing that and i'm like "how do you even do that if gr doesn't allow messages anymore? 😭" but thank you, you are an angel 🥹💕

ahh ofcc!! if your trying to do a buddy read w a specific person you can make a group and invite them, usally when i do that i make it private so i can js talk to the direct person. also on there acc on the bottom, you can comment on their account to talk to the specific person!
