It’s good but definitely slow. I understand the author is trying to build suspense and mystery while also world building without giving too much away but I’m getting confused trying to keep things straight. Hoping this will get better as I go.

The “mystery” that the author is trying to hold back is getting frustrating because it feels like nothing has been answered. She’s deliberately leaving things out and “alluding” to the info as important but not elaborating so it’s just confusing to follow. It’s starting to get annoying - too many holes and too convoluted.
