Okay. I really liked Goldberry and Tom Bombadil. Very strange and magical people. Also shout out to Nob the Hobbit servant; mainly because his name tickled me and I am apparently a child.

I'm still not sure what to think of the book but I'm sticking to it so it must be peaking my interest somewhere. Still an awful lot of walking and singing. I don't know why I'm surprised. I knew they were a huge plot point.

this is the first time I've read this book; honestly I've been a little too daunted to read it as I know it's a well loved classic, and I have all 3 in one book so it's massive and even more daunting.

So far, I'm interested enough to keep going. There's a lot of walking and singing in it though. Should have expected that.
