I'd been hearing so much buzz about this book at my local bookstore, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
From the very first pages, I was captivated by the World War II setting and the story of two sisters, each fighting their own battle to survive in a world torn apart by war. Their journeys are both unique and deeply moving, making it impossible not to become invested in their lives.
