I’m glad Rhen and Harper are good and like able characters again. Rhen’s villainization in the OG series was so aggravating, and did not put me on Gray’s side as was the obvious intention.
Gray has gone from bad to worse. And Lia Mara is hard to like now.

I’ve lost interest. I tried to look up spoilers to see how the story goes without having to read it and I couldn’t find anything 😂
Reading from this point on is spite reading. I have so many problems with this book.

I did not know that this series was a spinoff from another series. The author says it can be read without the other series, but I’ve reached a point where I think I would really benefit from reading the original series first.

And I think I’ve had the entire first series spoiled by this book. I guess we will see…
