Finally returned to this world and I hope to finish tomorrow. I am so happy to be done. This was a DRAG and honestly really boring for me. I clearly love a faster pacing in books because this one was just too slow for me.

I have read the word “queer” more times in this book than I have ever seen the word in my entire life. Tolkien really loved that word
