I have always loved Pam Ayres poetry, it's witty, sad, and so easy to read and understand. I use this book to help me out of the dulldrums when I need a pick me up and a smile on my face. I read somewhere that reading poetry out loud to yourself is good for your wellbeing, and Pam's poetry fits the bill for me.
