It really is awesome! I thought I knew where it was going early in the book but I didn’t. I just finished it. Can’t wait till book 3 comes in tomorrow. Thanks for recommending the series.
It's truly a unique story, one that has stayed with me. Especially once you get into book 3! It's most peoples favorite of the three books. Can't wait for you to read it! P.S. I know sometimes Goodreads notifications don't always show up right, so just wanted to let you know I messaged you a while back on our old convo about When the Moon Hatched--the podcast coverage started for it if you were still interested in a reread/deep dive of the book at some point before Ballad comes out =)

Oh and did you see the announcement/interview about the ACOTAR 6/7 coming out?! So exciting! I know you're a big SJM fan!
No I didn’t!!!!! When???
SJM decided to write one massive book, but split it into parts that will be released close together! So ACOTAR 6 will be part 1, released October 27th, 2026 then ACOTAR 7 (parts 2&3) on January 12th, 2027! No release date on ACOTAR 8 (part 4), but she made it sound like it won't be that far apart since they're meant to be read together! Ahhhh so excited!!! 😁 There's a whole two hour interview she did with a podcast called "Call Her Daddy" and the Fantasy Fangirls Podcast has an episode going over everything if that interests you! I'm just so thrilled it's finally here and not far away, and we get two within just a few months!!
