His explanation of the “reformers” (I.e. Luther and Calvin) overemphasizing or centralizing justification by faith is a bit anachronistic, and, I don’t think true. Okay, maybe Luther a little bit at times.

A lot of mixed reviews on this one. I read it way back 2nd or 3rd year and remember nothing about it other than thinking “this is one of those books I’ll need to re-read when I am pastoring”
