I don’t like how Catherine Lacey is dodging on some of her art commentary through these characters. But I can’t argue with “Is it possible that the best thing to happen in your life could also be the worst?” followed by “No . . . she didn’t say that. /I/ said that. That was how /I/ felt” !!
