Such a good dystopian text. The Marrow Thieves had me in a chokehold, n now I can’t seem to put this sequel down. You hear of the atrocities across the border, but it’s hard to imagine the corruption being local here in Canada. This text does exactly that; it locates you in Canada’s past but also shows the possibility of our near-future. It better work out in the end or Ill cry again😜
