I'm sorry but the original covers are still so cheesy and bad. Who is reading the story of Rand's continued mental health crash out, reading his continued disdain for the politics and trappings of leadership, and thinking this is a fitting illustration? It's out of character. It shows Rand as he isn't, and as he doesn't want to be. It contradicts one of the most important themes of the series. I don't get it.
