Gio must be unrealistically the most drop-dead gorgeous Italian man in the Seasons of Love universe, because how does he just get upgraded to first class like that? If airport employees “don’t get out much” and are flirting with every decent-looking guy enough to upgrade their tickets, I’m convinced they’d lose their jobs for being a little too “generous.”

The mention that she designs specifically for snowboarders’ girlfriends felt a bit tacky and overly emphasized that identity. It came across as centering her role as a partner to a famous snowboarder rather than her own individuality. It also felt limiting—why not broaden the focus to include female snowboarders themselves who may also be interested in stylish, functional pieces?

Also, Gen going into fashion design threw me off. Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but didn’t Aspen gift her a kitchen at the end of the first book? I thought in Falling for You she was still figuring herself out, and the kitchen felt like a bigger focus than fashion.

I know Gen is spontaneous, but it felt like she was guilt-tripping Lana into house/pet sitting—especially with everything prepaid and buying her ticket ahead of time. That doesn’t come across as great friend behavior to me. I think it would’ve been better to offer and give Lana time to decide, rather than springing it on her.

I'm not fully convinced that Lana would really move back home from college because of roommates if this were real life. In the first book, Gen described her as a total opposite to herself - school driven, straight A student, always busy and on top of classes, etc. Now seeing that her POV opens up to her being home... It just doesn't feel like her. Why didn't she just find a place off campus or request for a single?

Just started reading today and here are my thoughts so far:

- The use of "bro" during Aspen and Gio's conversation was a little overdone. I feel like Aspen never used "bro" once in Falling for You so it felt a little off
- I wonder why Gio was never mentioned in Falling for You considering the resort is a huge factor in his life and is Aspen's best friend. I feel he should've been mentioned briefly at least
