having a hard time gathering my thoughts and sympathies toward characters. how can i sympathize with a veteran that has done unimaginable things to innocent people. from a mental health standpoint i feel for the veterans reliving their ptsd and suppressing memories with substances but there needs to be some sort of redemption imo. at least they’re speaking of the past in a regretful way?
