'Not bc I didn’t want to. It was because if, & when, I did take her on a date, I wanted it to be what we both wanted. Without a doubt. & right now, my pretty little flame was too filled with doubt. If I asked her now, she could end up saying “yes” because she wasn’t comfortable saying “no.” Or she may say “yes” and later question whether it was really what she wanted.
