I hope you are enjoying this book as much as I did. For a brief time, I felt as though I had been transported back a hundred years, my having being so absorbed in Bryson’s text.

This is a simply fantastic book, Michael. Very different style from some of the other Bryson book I have read.
I agree. It’s more conversational in tone as regards the other two I read, which are more didactic, textbook like.
