My goal for the day is to finish this, I have less than 40 pages left of the actual story! What a read. We're at the part where Jane hears Rochester calling to her from afar, like some sort of intuition x After reading, I'd like to at some point do a little more research into consumption, when it was discovered as tuberculosis, & its mental symptoms. Not because I'm worried about it, but I have a theory or two lol

I have a little over 100 pages of this one left and I've gotta admit it's gotten very good. I suspect I'll finish this soon, I can't believe I'll have managed to get through both Wuthering Heights & Jane Eyre in one winter. I don't often say this but I'm impressed by myself. I've stopped highlighting because I feel like I would be highlighting most of most passages. By 3/4 in Charlotte hits flow state for sure lol

Dinner w/ mom last night was not bad, but also not easy. Happy most beautiful Sat morning! I fell asleep extremely early last night and now I'm just up apparently. But honestly not complaining I think I'm gonna grab coffee, maybe drive around the lake w/the sunroof open, & possibly read more of this? There’s also a feature where you can now scan your books into the GR digital library. Some book girlies online did this with an excel spreadsheet and isbn scanner, before GR. I want that. Since you can sync straight into GR now. But I need an ISBN scanner and the drive to scan every single book I own lol

Also due to the non-permanent nature of our digital libraries, part of me wants an old school like, filing system. Like a dewey decimal system and a box of index cards. Smh don’t even get me STARTED on kids today not knowing about the Dewey decimal system 💀😂 Which we’ve basically done away with, btw, in libraries and in bookstores. & it’s not going well!! How easy is it for you to find a specific book when you walk into B&N? Exactly. It’s on purpose, for multiple reasons. I will die on this hill lmao
But am I really gonna be that bitch with a box of index Dewey decimal cards for her personal collection??? …..don’t answer that 🤣 I might be xtra enough 😉
