She has the excitement/chaos of Emily's and employs Charlotte's clarity for framing. She also doesn't seem to suffer from Emily's frantic insecurity that bleeds into her writing. The theme is heavy (like her sisters she's not aiming for moral purity) but she carries it beautifully x

Good morn! ☀️ Happy Fri loml x so sorry for the delay, I went to grab coffee, dispo, & then took a detour to B&N for a book for GY (but u prob knew that 😉) I'm taking him for a late bday dinner tonight @ that new fancy ass hotel in Woodinville. We're gonna go investigate and check out the vibes + I usually get him at least one book for his bday. I'll add that one here & a few others that looked interesting!

Just had the strangest experience in the elevator with a lady that lives in my building! she was v nice I just mean out of nowhere she turns to me and goes, "have you had any issues with noise/neighbors?" and I was like um no why, have you? proceeds to tell me all about her neighbor situation & how the office won't do anything...convo ended with her thanking me for my advice on looking into tenant laws *sigh* PLS lol

Wed + sun! I'll take it. Gm b! I hope you also got 12+ hours of sleep last night but something tells me ya didn't 💀 I am going to make a choice to be in a better mood today becuz if I think about the unfortunate situation yesterday I actually start to get viscerally angry lol first stop, coffee & forcing myself to leave the house 🫡 tty in a bit x

And by dragged I do mean from the couch to my desk. & now I will actually go get a mango sago like I wanted earlier! been dreaming about it for weeks. *sigh* it was a Monday. It started off excited & kinda went downhill from there. Looks like it's gonna be another long week ahead! sitting down on the couch for little of this post-work & then maybe a drive to get dinner? As the days pass & my birthday approaches, the thought that I may be waiting on a train that is never coming scares the shit out of me. But if I chose to believe that, I prob wouldn't have hit 30!

I feel like I've finally started to lock into this, the first 100 pages were narrated by a man, & then we switch to the FMC's perspective and things are flowing much better now 😏 Anne is funny dude. Maybe the funniest out of her sisters. Charlotte is cutting, smart funny but Anne is clocking everything & making the most hilarious asides about society in her writing, so I'm enjoying that as a reader

I read a little of this on the couch this morning & then fell asleep, rough day huh 😂 tomorrow I’m getting eyebrows done but today is laundry & errands (dispo here I come!) that new PJ dress came & let’s just say im glad I ordered the medium cuz of length 💀Just barely appropriate to wear out of bed & to coffee in the summer! You’re gonna pass out b lmao it’s v cute, approved purchase.

I’m not feeling the best tonight so it’ll prob be an early bedtime, obvi I think this week was just a lot. Ironically, I’m feeling so isolated despite the socializing. Connection & socializing are two diff things I guess. I made it! 2 dinners down, 1 to go. That one is GY's tho & should be the easiest lol. The food was bomb, I am very full. Although I wouldn't exactly call myself satisfied yet....ask me in May 😉 I might read some of this but realistically think I'm gonna end up passing out to Bravo or a movie! x you're going to be next to me doing that soon 😭 unreal 💞

My goal for the day is to finish this, I have less than 40 pages left of the actual story! What a read. We're at the part where Jane hears Rochester calling to her from afar, like some sort of intuition x After reading, I'd like to at some point do a little more research into consumption, when it was discovered as tuberculosis, & its mental symptoms. Not because I'm worried about it, but I have a theory or two lol

I have a little over 100 pages of this one left and I've gotta admit it's gotten very good. I suspect I'll finish this soon, I can't believe I'll have managed to get through both Wuthering Heights & Jane Eyre in one winter. I don't often say this but I'm impressed by myself. I've stopped highlighting because I feel like I would be highlighting most of most passages. By 3/4 in Charlotte hits flow state for sure lol
