I HAD to read this book. I always had a thing for Angels in general and St. Michael in particular. So I couldn't NOT read it. But to be honest, I was prepared for it to make me cringe. How could you write a queer retelling of the fall of Lucifer without it being cringey??
But it's surprisingly beautiful and sweet. And already sad, because you know from the start that this won't end well.
