I knew the peace Ali felt at Am Geziri would not last long, but I didn't realize how immediately harrowing it would be. I'm really enjoying the characters working towards a hospital (it's the only plot point in the story that doesn't induce extensive anxiety). Nahri's marriage and her life at the palace continues to make me feel lonely, my heart goes out to her.
