Obviously, I love this book. I also love Mehen, Kallan, Uajidit and Dumuzi, but there’s just soooo much space taken away from the main storyline - the one I signed up for.

I cried (just a little) and I smiled devilishly. A plot twist, an action scene and the spell is back. I have a feeling all roads lead back to Arush Vayem, and I will carry Lorcan’s doomed torch to every end. 🤠

We went off with a pang! But then… so many boring Dumuzi and Dahl chapters. And I loved them in the last book. But this it the end. Give me Havi and Alonya and Bisera, give me, Fari, Brin and Lorcan, please.
The paelyrion said nothing for several moments. “Whose side are you on, Lorcan?”
“My own,” Lorcan said. (p.196) (well, isn’t that the whole story, summed up?)
