I’m getting so annoyed with Edmund. Dude Mary is your polar opposite (and NOT in a good way) in both morals and enjoyments and yet you are fawning over her. Yet you come to Fanny for advice when it comes to moral obligations and you get along with her best. You were even telling her how pretty she is when she thinks otherwise why are you being so duuuuumb?

I just feel so bad for Fanny. Why is everyone except Edmund so awful to her? And now he’s joining in on everyone pressuring her, oh the poor girl I just want to reach in and give her a hug and take her away from all this

Mood because I get to write a persuasive essay for this rather than an expository essay like I did for Emma.

(Hint: I LOVE persuasive essays)

So the lot of them trying to decide on which play they should perform, and everyone just bickering and bickering, sounds JUST like me and my siblings deciding on what movie to watch 😂 Familial arguments have always been a thing, I guess

And even more Edmund and Tom fighting about whether to do the play or not is like my sis yelling at her twin bro to not put on some inappropriate movie! 🤣

The humor in Jane Austen novels is unmatched y’all 😂

I’m convinced Edmund isn’t aware of his own feelings because what do you mean he’s complimenting and defending Fanny at every opportunity yet thinks he’s in love with Mary Crawford?!

Someone please tell me why this isn’t as popular as Emma or Pride and Prejudice?! Excuse me but this might become my favorite Austen novel 😭 Fanny is so precious and Edmund is just an angel, and all the characters are just so well-written

Edmund is so sweet and so protective of Fanny. I’m so glad poor Fanny has a companion like him

Though I’ve grown up in drastically different circumstances, I feel like I can relate to Fanny so much. Enjoying this drastically more than Emma, I must say. This storyline intrigues me much more
