impressive how quickly this has become a radically different type of domestic drama

this is going in a surprisingly uncomfortable direction and... it's a good thing. it doesn't sit right with me but the fact it doesn't is good.

to be clear i mean this in a bad way: some of the history recounted here is written in wikipedia-adjacent prose. very boring
