I thought I’d like romance. I love it in non-romance books. But it’s because there’s actual plot in those books. Not this. I know the ending, so the stakes are not high, and there’s nothing else to grasp on to besides the main relationship. I’m really slogging through this one since there’s no suspense/excitement for what the ending will be. Oh well. At least I know to steer away from cartoon covers.
