I feel all of my space amazed adolescent years resurfacing. This book makes me feel a little happy about my own knowledge bank, but it’s also teaching me things (like did you know that some people have genetic markers that help them be coma resistant? And that we think this has origins in our aquatic ancestors who hibernated? Crazy cool!). That’s why I love good science fiction, the science actually checks out.
