Going to DNF sadly. It’s put me in a reading slump and I can literally only read a chapter at a time. I’m just not enjoying it at all.

Why would Weils be met up with someone from the CIA when she has just graduate college for field work? She doesn’t done anything to prove that she would be good in field work.

Like I don’t care about her. I don’t feel like she’s a main character. Why are we wasting words on her backstory?

Now that Bonner is dead we have Weils perspective and it is just so boring. Why are we getting new backstory on a character at the end of the book. IM SL BORED

They keen saying it’s a fever house and people are dying and running around eating people but it feels like they’ve only talked about it like three times. Like there’s no gore.

I’m confused about how Nick and Peach met. When his mum cut her foot, why didn’t Nick just call the ambulance, why peach?

I feel like the book so far would be better if it focused more on what was happening with all the people killing each other instead of the secret agents and Nick. Like the book started with gore almost straight away and now there is next to no gore.

Jumping straight into it. Very exciting at the start of the book
