It’s an easy read and, at times, fun read but the execution is sorely lacking. There isn’t much depth to be found either.

This is a book that relies far too heavily on telling as opposed to showing. This results in everything feeling very surface level.

This is a strange one, I’m enjoying the story but also frustrated with how weak and underdeveloped the world building is.
Cyrus is very one dimensional and Arden very quickly goes from believing everything CURED has ever told her to questioning their integrity based on very limited information and evidence.
It’s also glaringly obvious that Cyrus is Unicorn and a double agent.
