the moss people? the sudden dolphins with human eyes?? i feel like i can’t trust anything the biologist says. the interlude about her past college assignment sounds fake (western coast? near arctic climate?). i’m excited to see where this goes, but i wish we saw more of the psychologist. you can tell there’s so much more to her!!

psychologist—mostly hypnosis being real—is intriguing.
every once and a while the narrator will mention something from her life outside that reminds you she was a real person, but also a disturbed one. it’s a weird effect. we the reader also forget the world is normal outside.
