Overly long, yet lacking detail about the title women, save Catherine of Aragon & Anne Boleyn who take up over 500 pages. Jane Seymour is given little attention & no background information-not even date of birth/age at marriage. No info on her courtship. Just the barest outline of a life. I haven't finished the book yet, but I'm over 60% through it & there are still three wives to go, so I don't expect much.
