Finally invested some time in this book.
Vivid storytelling, multiple plot lines, lots of characters and tension you can cut with a knife. Can't wait to see what will happen. 🐢

First of all: Love me some short chapters!
Second, I love how easy it is to imagine the scene the characters are in and how well the situation is described.
Now, mama Lucinda, I see her point, but I just can't stand overcontrolling parents ordering their kids what they need to do with their lives. Especially if they have grown up.

Unusual start of the book, and its kinda refreshing. Lots of names to remember, but at least I have a legend to look up who is who this time 😂
I didn't know that it was a second book from a series, but I will survive, I guess.
Minus: using complicated, unknown words on the first page gave me whiplash. 😂😂 ain't looking up those if it's not essential.
