I’m honestly done with books that obsess over trauma. This one is drowning in mommy issues and barely even tries to be horror. I’m 60% in and there’s been ONE creepy scene. That’s it. How is this even marketed as horror? I’m so disappointed. I just want something fun, something that actually scares me, something with energy. Not this repetitive “trauma” garbage.
